About BCP
“The Blunn Creek Partnership grew out of efforts in 2005 to address a range of concerns facing the creek and its watershed, particularly Stacy Park and Blunn Creek Nature Preserve. The problems included flooding, erosion, and invasive plants, as well as challenges with maintaining trails, bridges, playgrounds, tennis courts, swimming pool and other equipment in the parks. In conjunction with the City of Austin’s Parks and Recreation Department, the Partnership has been fortunate to draw together funds and volunteers to address these issues.”
