Volunteer Opportunities

  • Adopt-A-Family Team: Provide holiday support to military and veteran families
  • Angel Bakers Team: Send monthly care packages to deployed military heroes
  • Baby Brigade: Provide virtual baby showers for expectant spouses of deployed service members and expectant active-duty female service members
  • Cards Plus Team: Support deployed service members, veterans, and their families with encouraging or celebratory cards
  • Chaplain Support Team: Provide direct support to military chaplains
  • Deployed Adoptions Team: Send your “adopted” service member at least one letter per week and one care package per month until the service member returns home
  • Ladies of Liberty Team: All-female volunteers who support the specific needs of deployed female service members
  • Letter Writing Team: Write one-time letters to service members awaiting adoption through the Deployed Adoptions Team program
  • Living Legends Team: Comfort the loved ones left behind when a warrior falls in the performance of military duties
  • Sewing and Crafting Team: Provide handcrafted pieces of comfort and support to veterans, deployed service members, and their families
  • Special Operations Forces Team: Support Special Forces and Special Operations service members
  • Women of Valor Team: Support female caregivers of post-9/11 wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans

Volunteer Requirements

  • Due to additional security requirements, the Special Operations Forces Team is restricted to volunteers who have served on at least one other team for a minimum of six months and have been recommended by their team leader.
